{ Breakfast: Pancake with Egg, Sausage and Bacon }

This morning's breakfast was Pancakes with whatever I'm trying to clear in the fridge. :P

I bought 2 boxes of button mushroom a few days ago but did not store them properly and they were all bruised and turning brown. So my daughter was happy that she's having her favourite mushroom soup again.

The bacon was expiring soon, so I had to clear that too. I added an egg (with a runny yolk) and a couple of sausages too.

This was the kids' breakfast. I can't eat this much for breakfast. I'm just having some simple fluffy pancakes.

{ Breakfast: Hot Dog Bun with Sausage and Bacon }

This morning's breakfast was Hot Dog Bun with Chicken Sausage with Caramelised Peppered Bacon. I served it with cabbage salad, persimmon and pink guava juice.

What did you have for breakfast this morning?

Sausage with Broccoli

I was really lazy yesterday and I just didn't want to spend too much time cooking. Mum has Monday's Blues also, you know? :p

I just made this 2 in 1 dish for the kids, with soup of course. They can't eat without soup. ^_^"

This is not 五香贯肠. It's just Sausage wrapped Bacon. ;) Yap, I just wrapped the sausage with bacon and pan fried it at low fire till the bacon is crispy. I served it with some blanched broccoli and that's about it.

Hopefully, there's no Tuesday's Blue. :P

Sunflower Egg
香肠蛋太阳花

Ingredients:
(makes 8)
  • 4 cocktail sausages
  • 8 quail eggs

How to do it:
  1. Cut the cocktail sausages into halves along their length.
  2. Make slight cuts on the side of each half.
  3. Join the 2 ends of each half with a toothpick to form a ring.
  4. Slightly fry the sausages.
  5. Quickly add a quail egg into each ring.
  6. Fry well.

Note:
Cook with small fire. When the egg white starts to turn white, add water to cook instead. The bottom of the egg white will still be soft, not be burn or too hard for kids to eat.
