Vegetable Miso Soup
蔬菜味噌汤

I bought a packet of miso paste sometime back but haven't got a chance to use it. Thought I'll use it today for soup.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Miso paste
  • 1 handful broccoli florets
  • 1/2 Carrot, sliced
  • 3 crab stick, sliced into 2
  • 750ml water
How to do it:
  1. Mixed Miso paste with water.
  2. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil.
  3. It's ready when the vegetables are cooked.
Soooo simple, right?

  1. I am so glad to stumble on your blog while I was desperately surfing online to find some simple Singapore Local dishes to make for my husband and myself. I am a Singaporean now residing in Austin,Texas and as my husband is a Japanese, I ended up more comfortable making Japanese dishes instead on Singapore style dishes!! Your easy to make recipes really encouraged me to want to try them out as I know that the dishes will match both my husband's and my tastebuds! (^0^)

Welcome and thanks for dropping by!

My 'Japanese' dishes aren't authentic. They are my 'try on error' dishes that finally make it on our dinner table after MANY try-outs. But I do hope you and your husband will like them.

You should try. It's a time & money-saver! Imagine I need at least 4 hrs to brew my usual soup compared to 20 minutes for this! Cook once a while not bad mah. ;)
