Corn & Radish Soup
白萝卜玉米汤

This soup is especially good for those wants to try radish but dislike the smell and the slight bitter taste (like my husband :P). Adding a cob of corn help sweeten the soup and the smell of radish will not be as strong at the same time.

Ingredients:
  • 1 Corn, cut into sections
  • 2 Carrot, cut into chunks
  • 1 Radish, cut into chunks
  • 8 Red Dates
  • a handful of Wolfberries
  • 300g Pork Ribs
  • 1.8 litre Wter
  • Salt to taste

How to do it:
  1. Blanched pork ribs.
  2. Add all ingredients except wolfberries in pot.
  3. Bring it to a boil and reduce to a simmer.
  4. Continue to simmer for 2 hours.
  5. Add wolfberries during last 1/2 hour of cooking.
  6. Add salt to taste.
  7. Serve.

  1. I've been making this soup lately, without the corn as the white radish were in season and are extremely sweet!
