You shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to cook this dish. So it's good for those who always (say they) can't find time to cook.
Ingredients:
- 500g Pea Sprouts
- 4 clove Garlic, sliced or minced
- 1 tablespoon Water
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Light Soy Sauce
- a pinch of Salt
- Heat wok with oil.
- Add in the garlic and stir fry till frangant.
- Add in your pea sprouts and stir fry quickly to let them 'shrink' evenly.
- Add in 1/2 to 1 tablespoon water your pea sprout is too dry.
- Add in light soy sauce and a pinch of salt to taste.
- Stir well, dish and serve.

I ate a very nice Stir Fried Pea Sprouts dish at a restaurant. But when I cooked them, it tasted so weird. I cooked it like any other stir fried vege. Dunno ler, maybe I bought wrong type?
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteHmm ... did you get the 幼豆苗?I like to add light soy sauce to it because it will add a bit of sweet taste to it. Just add salt only, taste abit 涩 (hope this is the correct word).
LOVE pea sprouts!
ReplyDeleteSteamyKitchen,
ReplyDeleteI love it too cos it so easy and fast to cook. :p
Hi WokkingMum
ReplyDeleteI follow according by adding soy sauce and salt but it still taste a little bitter... I don't know what went wrong... pls advise.. thanks
Amelia,
ReplyDeleteSometimes, Pea Sprouts may taste a bit bitter. Perhaps you might like to use broth instead of water and 1/4 teaspoon of sugar in your cooking. It will help.
