Steamed Egg Custard with Clams 蛤蜊蒸蛋

  1. this is a lovely steamed egg custard with clams. I think it will tasty especially the clams sweetness in the egg custard...yummmyummm thanks for sharing this. I will definitely try it out :)

  4. Hey there.. where do you buy the clams from? Are they live clams from the wet market or did you get them from the supermarket? :)

  5. @Katiemom, They are live clams from the wet market. The problem with those in the supermarket is you wont be able to make the clam split out the sand as they are dead. If you can't get get live ones, my suggestion is not to use the whole clams. Remove the shells and use the meat only. This way you can make sure its clean, without sand. ^^
