The photographs of my posts from year 2006 to 2007 are missing. I couldn't get any help from Blogger to retrieve the missing photos. Hence, I'm manually uploading them one at a time. So, pardon all the posts with missing photos and bear with me while I try my best to get the photos back to the posts as soon as I can. Thank you!

Cereal Chicken Fingers

19 burps:

  1. Welcome back! I have missed your updates :-)

I'm keen to try this one, but when you have a minute could you elaborate what instant cereal is? Is it cornflakes?

All the best for a ***happy*** new year!

  2. Very easy recipe, I must try it out. My daughter would love it.

and so sorry to hear your predicament. Maybe your MIL is lonely since her husband passed away and just need some attention. Just hope she is not Monster-in-law to you.

Hope this year is a good year to you. Happy 2010.

  3. Twin, Thank you. Try it someday. :)

vTg, Thank you for your welcome. I missed updating my blog too. Then instant cereal I'm referring to is Nestum Original Instant Cereal

Rose, I think she is more afraid than lonely. The reason she moved in with us was she said my FIL's spirit will return home to haunt her. Sigh! At least, I'm lucky she is not a Monster-in-law. She just has lots of imaginary/real ailments as well as a lot of 'rules and regulations' she insist I follow. Out of respect, I just do whatever she ask me to do, even I don't agree. However, she still continues her lecturing. That includes religious stuff too. It was just too stressful for me. I just hope things will get better for all of us. :)

Thanks for your concern and a happy 2010 to you too.

  5. I am so happy that you are back!! I came back from holiday in Esperance, Western Australia just after Christmas. The kind owner of the resort gave us 2 huge raw abalones in exchange for an Asian abalone recipe. I gave him your blogsite, I hope you don't mind.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with your MIL. I cannot live with people like that because I know I will go mad myself first. Wish you all the best. God bless you and family.

  7. Welcome back, we really missed you here. So sorry about your father in-law passing and the other stresses you are having. To have cooking become a stress instead of stress relief is a shame.

I hope that you still enjoy sharing with us here! We greatly appreciate the time you spend for us.

  13. Not easy to live with own mum not to mention hubby's mum... but I survived .. I lived with my MIL since 1986 and we get along fine. Just turn a deaf ear and blind eye and everything will be fine.

  14. Hey Wokking Mum! Really sorry to hear about your predicament. MILs are really difficult to deal with. Especially the religious ones... Sometimes you just have to stand up for yourself. You can be nice but you have to be assertive as well. Don't let her use your husband as the battleground (they usually do).

The last thing your fans want is you to lose interest in cooking. You're our cooking goddess, remember?? :) xoxox
